Bacon and Day Silver Bell plectrum banjo, with fitted case and shoulder strap. American, Early 20th Century. Made by the Bacon Banjo Co. Inc., Groton, Conn. USA. Serial number located on neck extension inside banjo states "#17800 B & D SILVER BELL. Significant wear to drum head and around resonator, crazing on headstock, loss to veneer behind headstock. Wear throughout fitted case and loss to velvet lining. 40" H x 16" L x 6" W
